Mitsubishi Motors Australia Limited has announced the return of its value-packed Pajero RX.

The limited edition RX builds on the equipment levels offered in high-spec Pajero GLX, adding a host of exterior enhancements, additional features and improved technology for only $1350 more than the price of its derivative model.

Exclusive features include a chrome-finish grille, rear bumper protector and fog lamp surrounds and, of course, RX badging. Externally, Pajero RX also adds 18-inch alloy wheels, chrome wing mirror caps and door handles, side steps, front skid plate, rear spoiler and roof rails.

Inside a titanium-look instrument panel fascia, power window switch plate, gear shift selector and chrome-finish door handles brighten Pajero's appeal. Additionally, RX models also include vanity mirror lamps, sun visor extensions, and rear seat privacy glass.

Technology upgrades also abound in Pajero RX with the addition of satellite navigation, a reversing camera, rear-zone air-conditioning, electrochromatic rear-view and wing mirrors, as well as mirror demisters and convenient puddle lamps.

Optionally, Pajero RX is also offered with Mitsubishi's 'Family Convenience Pack' for $1,350 more, which includes automatic headlamps, rain sensing wipers, headlamps washers and a 9.0-imch rear seat DVD screen with two wireless headsets.

"The Limited Edition Pajero RX has always been a popular inclusion in our Pajero line-up," explains MMAL's vice president of marketing, Paul Unerkov.

"The limited release of 1200 units will feature all the technology, power and four-wheel drive capabilities Pajero is famous for, while giving our customers a little something extra."
