The new Toyota Corolla Ascent 'Sport' has arrived Down Under, bringing with it a host of added features from just $22,490.

Available in both hatch and sedan body styles, the Corolla Ascent 'Sport' adds 16-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, front fog lamps and aerodynamic enhancements to the standard model. An uprated audio package is also included. The 'Gen Y' head unit featuring a monochromatic LCD display with amber-coloured backlighting, joystick controller, single CD player, Bluetooth telephony and audio streaming capability, as well as USB and 3.5mm auxiliary audio input jacks.

Offered in eight exterior colours, and with the choice of manual or automatic transmissions, the Corolla Ascent 'Sport' also includes a luxury gearshift knob and steering wheel, the latter equipped with remote audio and multi-information display controls. Like all Corolla models, Ascent 'Sport' is offered as standard with traction and stability control.
